In the latest manga chapter One Piece 1135, Elbaph giant Colon character were hinted to be the next big crucial character in the anime. Colon was first appeared in the Egghead Arc when the Red-haired pirates visited Elbaph. Colon was insisting Shanks take him along with them as a pirate just like Luffy did when he was a kid. Shanks makes fun of Colon, and Lucky Roux asks him not to do so as he could become someone strong in the future just like Luffy became a Yonko. In One Piece Manga Chapter 1135, Colon is introduced as the son of Ripley – the giant and a human. Colon seems to be a furious kid just like Luffy who wants to fight and be a cool pirate and a prideful warrior.
Who is Ripley?
His mother Ripley is a warrior and biology teacher at the Walrus School. Ripley is dressed calmly and has an original slim tattoo on the left side of the body and light braided hair. She is the mother of Colon a young giant and a native of Elbaph. Her character was introduced in the previous chapter where she claimed that she wants to follow the ideology of King Harald and doesn’t want Elbaph to become a land of war.
Ripley claims she married a human but he is more stronger than the Giants in the Elbaph. Though, the recent chapters have raised ideas advocating for Scopper Gaban, a character in the Roger Pirates, to be his father. This, at least, is likely so due to the appearance of a silhouette that resembles Scopper Gabban. However, these relations cannot be confirmed as true and Colon’s father’s identity is left unknown and is hinted at in the upcoming manga panels.
Is Gabban, the mysterious character in Elbaph?
One Piece character Scopper Gaban was a member of the Pirate crew – Roger Pirates. He is one of the trusted companions of one of the strongest pirate commanders of all time, Gol D. Roger together with Silvers Rayleigh. Even though he is shown in the series as a relatively rare character, still Gaban is shown as a highly quarter-backed and powerful fighter, probably, not lower the rank of Rayleigh in the crew. The fans have speculated that Gaban might be introduced to have another storyline in future arcs that can either extend his role as Luffy’s ally or present a new addition in Elbaph by providing significant background information regarding the Roger Pirates and the One Piece.
Rayleigh was introduced in the Sabaody Archipelago Arc when the Strawhats Pirates needed him the most. Luffy was trained under him for two years before entering the new world. Maybe Gabban will be training the Strawhats for the Final Saga as Oda Sensei has already confirmed that the anime has entered its final saga.
