Dandadan Season 2 Release Date

Summary

A much-awaited second season for this popular anime series is now confirmed, and this has been scheduled for release sometime during July 2nd of 2025. Given how successful the first season was and what hype surrounded it, fans needed an announcement, and it has been done.

Directed by Fūga Yamashiro and produced by Science Saru, “Dandadan” Season 1 kicked off on October 4, 2024, and ended on December 19, 2024. The supernatural and comedic parts blended with sci-fi throughout this series held audiences on the edge of their seats. The anime successfully gained an hype in it’s first season itself. The anime adapted Yukinobu Tatsu’s manga, largely retaining all of the elements of the source material for fans.

Season 1 of Dandadan has really become the most loved debut anime of 2024 and also gained the title of being the most watched anime of 2024 in Netflix.

What to Expect from Season 2

Season two will bring more wild adventures with Momo Ayase and Ken Takakura aka Okarun, as central protagonists. Official plot details have not been revealed yet; however, promotional visuals leaked already hinted at adaptations of some fan-favorite arcs like “Cursed House,” “Evil Eye,” and “Kaiju.” There is much to expect in the series: high-stakes battles, emotional moments, and dynamic character development.

Although no premiere date was announced in July 2025, its confirmation has already caused waves within the anime community. In the coming months, details about the number of episodes broadcast schedule, and possible streaming platforms are expected to be revealed.
