Dandadan’s recent episode introduced a new character named Jiji. Jiji also known as Jin Enjoji one of her childhood friends of Momo and also her first love who she lost touch with after he moved away. Years later, he reunites with Momo by enrolling in Kami High. For now, his character is shown as a side character who has a crush on Momo and also bullied Momo in her childhood for her beliefs in Spiritual nature.
Jiji is a hyperactive person who often expresses his emotions dramatically. He is popular among the ladies and gives off Playboy vibes. He acts flirty and playful with anyone he finds cute, aside from his flirty personality he proved himself to be a good person by heart. Jiji sincerely apologized to Momo for bullying her in the past and also saved her from an Alive Anatomical Model that tried to attack her.
At one point, Jiji noticed that there was something strange in his house and he was able to see spirits in his house and also in his dreams. After hiring a well-known spirit medium to perform an exorcism they all failed. As a last resort, Jiji contacted Seiko Ayase to resolve this issue. Which leads to him becoming the yokai’s vessel. Jiji felt pity for the yokai and let it merge with him. But the yokai reveals that it is manipulating Jiji to get him a vessel and trying to destroy humanity but Okarun is able to convince the yokai to become an ally and this leads to Jiji learning to deal with his power
Jiji also inherited the spiritual energy but not as much as Momo, but he was still able to deliver a the attack that will clear anything in his way. Just like Momo, Jiji’s spiritual power is also invisible to others, and kept working with his friends to improve his Ki power. The transformation of the Jiji Yokai is much different from others because the Yokai just takes full control of Jiji’s body so the evil eye Yokai will fight with his full consciousness, unlike Okarun.
