Franky voice actor, Kazuki Yao retires from his work as voice actor of One Piece after 22 years. Shipwright Franky character was introduced in the Water 7 Arc who was known for this voice modulation. Kazuki Yao is very well-known Japanese voice actor and was born on 17th June 1959 and almost 65 years old.
Earlier there were rumours surfaced that the voic actor of Franky has passed away. But Kazuki has put an end to the rumours by post a tweet on his X platform.
In his interview, Franky’s voice artist has stated that age is one such factor that we can’t stop and we will not stop ourselves to getting aged. He has also revealed that after 22 years of voicing for Franky it is emotional to leave behind the One Piece franschise but his health issues has made him to nothing but rest.

The new voice actor for Franky is also seems to be decided and the voice artist will be announced in the Jump Festa Event will be taking place on December 22, 2024. Kazuki Yao not only gave his voice for Franky but also for Mr.2 Bon Clay, Jango, and Mounblutain in One Piece.
