After releasing episode 1122 of the Egghead Island Arc, One Piece was announced to go for a break of six long months due to the story pacing between manga and anime. It was said that the anime would be back in April of next year, and not announced the accurate date. But now in the Jump Festa 2025 Anime Event, it was officially announced that the anime is all set to resume on April 6, 2025.
One Piece Egghead Arc will resume from where it was paused, where the straw hats are planning to save Vegapunk Stella and escape from the island along with him. Further, the anime will head to major incidents and the most awaited battle between Luffy and the five elders Gorosei. Meanwhile, the One Piece Manga is currently focusing on the straw hat pirates reaching Elbaph Island – The Island of the Giants.
Upon its return, the One Piece Egghead Arc will shift to a new timeslot, airing on Sundays at 11.15 pm JST on Fuji Television along with its affiliated stations. The new timeslot is to avoid the censorship content issues to reveal the dark side story of Egghead. After Wano Arc, the Egghead is set to reveal the major secrets of the Pirate World and Joyboy.
Many anime is set to release and resume in the summer of 2025 along with One Piece. Currently, Toei Animation is being telecasted the reanimated episodes of the Fish Man Island with more curated animations and fights.
