The Strawhat Pirates led by Monkey D Luffy currently includes ten members including Luffy the Captain, Roronoa Zoro the Swordsmen, Nami the Navigator, Vinsmoke Sanji the Cook, Ussop the Sniper, Tony Tony Chopper the Doctor, Nico Robin the Archaeologist, Franky the Shipwright, Soul King Brook the Musician, and Jimbei, the Helmsman. One Piece is now heading to its final saga where we can expect other members to join the crew before the final battle for the treasure One Piece begins.
In the end of the every arc, Luffy and the crew has met a particular character whom they wished to join their crew but it couldn’t have happened because of the particular circumstances. But now it can be expected their old friends to join the crew and become the pirates to serve Luffy. Fans are expecting a few set of characters to join the crew, among where few of them are already considered a part of the Strawhats Crew.
Nefertari D Vivi
The Strawhats meet Vivi in the Baroque Works where she introduces her as Miss Wednesday working under Sir Crocodile. After knowing that she is the Princess of the Alabasta Kingdom and her country is under the darkness by the former Warlord Crocodile, Luffy and others reach Alabasta and fight everyone for Vivi and handover the kingdom to overtake the rule of King Cobra. Strawhats wanted Vivi to join them, which is something the Alabasta Princess wanted too, however, the situation to protect her kingdom in the crucial period didn’t allowed her to join the Strawhats.
The Strawhats leave a teary farewell to Vivi by pledging a symbol of friendship in their hands by telling that she is already a member of the crew. Luffy even said that she can join them anytime so they will come to pick her. Vivi can join anytime now as she is hiding herself in the flying ship of the World Economy Journal along with Wapol. The Government may try to kill her after killing Cobra knowing that she is too a member of “D.” Vivi may seek the help of the Strawhats and join the crew to fight the government.
Bon Clay
Bon Clay who was first introduced as “Mister 2” meets the Strawhats during the Barque works along with Vivi. Bon Clay was eventually the rivalry of the Strawhats but end up being a loyal friend to Luffy. Bon Clay sacrificed himself against the marines to let escape the Strawhats without getting caught to the marines. After this Luffy meets Bon under the Impel Down Prison when he infiltrated the prison to save Ace. Bon Clay was the sole reason behind Luffy making it out of there alive.
When escaping the Impel Down with the marine ship, Bon Chan acted as a decoy and controlled the doors of Impel Down to let escape Strawhats and others by letting himself get caught in the prison. Bon Clay sacrificed himself to let Luffy escape to save his brother. Every fan of One Piece wants Bon Clay to join the crew officially, as he is already a part of the Strawhats crew. Bon Clay is currently being imprisoned in Impel Down. We may witness Luffy saving him and asking him to join the crew.
Dorry and Broggy
The Strawhats meet the Elbaph Warriors, Dorry, and Broggy in the Little Garden where Luffy and others end the 100 years of competition between the warriors. While leaving the Strawhats promised they would meet again in Elbaph.
Currently, One Piece Manga is heading to the Elbaph Arc where the Strawhats met Broggy and Dorry. Since the upcoming story is clueless, Luffy may ask them to join the crew.
Macro - The Phoenix
Macro met Luffy in the Marineford as the 1st Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. Whitebeard during his final moments asks his crew to protect and support Luffy no matter what as he is the only will and reflection of their beloved crewmate, Portgas D Ace.
Even after leaving his crew, Marco chooses to fight for Luffy in Onigashima as he sees Ace in him. Marco bids farewell to Luffy from Wano and tells him that it’s their time to take over from now. Marco always rejected when Shanks asked him to join the crew. Marco will always be along and fight for Ace’s beloved brother, so a major reunion again can be expected in the final battle of One Piece.
Momonosuke
Momonosuke meets Luffy in the Punk Hazard Island in the dragon form, later in the Zou Island when he reveals his tragic past and his desire to fight Kaido, Momonosuke asks for Luffy’s help to defeat Kaido. Luffy and Momo share a bond of brotherhood just like Oden and Roger, and take down Kaido in Onigashima.
Momonosuke and the Strawhats have a teary farewell and Momo wishes to be with them forever. As the Shogun of Wano, Momo stays back to protect Wano and restore peace in the country. In the end, Luffy says that they will come anytime to pick them up when they wish to join the crew.
Kinemon
Kinemon and Luffy shared a great bond of trust when they met each other first time in Punk Hazard island. Luffy promises Kinemon to defeat Kaido and avenge Oden’s death. Luffy keeps up Kinemon’s promise till the end and frees the people of Wano from Kaido and Orochi.
Luffy was admired by the loyalty of Kinemon for his leader Kozuki Oden and how he fulfilled his will till the end even when it cost his life. Luffy asked Kinemon to join his crew and he will be waiting for him to join the crew. During the final saga, Kinemon and Momo may join Luffy to fight against the World Government.
Yamato
Yamato waited for years to see Ace’s brother Luffy in the Onigashima, when she met Luffy she was ready to join the crew. Yamato even said that she want to explore the world just like Oden did by joining the Roger Pirates. But at the last moment she realises that she needs to be with Momonosuke in the Land of Wano as the threats of the government has grown for Wano after the fall of Kaido.
She wished to stay back for a while until Momo gets strong enough to protect Wano on his own. But anytime or sooner Yamato can join the Strawhats as she already pledged her loyalty to Luffy and she wanted to witness Luffy achieving his dream.
