One Piece Manga Chapter 1130 is out now and surely has hyped the final saga of One Piece. The latest chapter has shown a detailed view of the Island of Elbaph and reveals another top entity of the series, Loki the Prince of Elbaph. The Strawhats run into the Island of Elbaph where they meet the New Giant Pirates and their old Giant mates Dorry and Broggy.
Dorry and Broggy, the new allies of the Strawhat Pirates
Robin and the other Strawhats were reading the latest arrived newspaper that had covered up the incident that happened in Egghead Island. It was reported that the Captains of the New Giant Pirates, Dorry the Blue Ogre and Broggy the Red Ogre has set the Seas of Egghead on fire along with Yonko Strawhat Monkey. D. Luffy and they gained the highest-ever bounty of 1.8 billion berries.
“Amazing to think that Strawhat’s considered equals with Red-Hairs now!” – Dorry
Franky and the New Giant crew accuse the Government of these false accusations, on the other hand, Luffy was mentioned to be murdered by the Scientist Vegapunk in Egghead with the picture of Luffy being in his Gear 5 Mode. Robin notices a mark on Luffy’s hand in the picture and gets a strange feeling about the mark.
The Sons of the King, Harald of Elbaph
The New Giant Pirates talks about the trouble caused in Elbaph because of the Son of a King who has caused a lot of crimes and was sentenced to Crucifixion which is a type of execution whereby the culprit is pinned to an enormous wooden cross, bar or stake, to die in that manner. However, he eventually escaped the punishment and it took all the warriors of Elbaph to control him in the absence of Captains.
Who is Haijurudin?
Hajrudin is a warrior giant said to be of the new generation from Elbaph. He was first introduced in the Dressrosa Arc who became a gladiator in Corrida Colosseum to battle for the Flame-Flame Fruit and was teamed up with Luffy D. Monkey, with whom he decided to follow.
Luffy meets Prince Loki
The New Giant pirates further reveal another son of the King who is known as the “Accursed Prince.” While moving with his half members of the crew Luffy hears a roaring voice and runs back to check the strange voice alone. This is where he meets a Giant Warrior tied up with chains all over his body. Luffy meets Loki and asks about his whereabouts and the place. Luffy introduces himself as “The man who will be the King of the Pirates.” The Giant is no other than the Accursed Prince, “Loki” where he addresses the Island as the most powerful island in the world that was once known for Warfare. he claims himself as the Sun God who will bring the end to the world.
“This is War-Land Elbaph’s Kingdom of Warriors. And I am the Sun God who brings the world to an end” – Prince Loki
Loki First Reference in the WholeCake Arc
Loki’s character existence was first teased in the Wholecake Island Arc. Loki was supposed to marry Charlotte Lola, the 23rd Daughter of Linlin as an agreement of political marriage between the Warriors of Elbaph and the Big Mom Pirates. Lola ran away from the Land of Totto to escape this marriage which strengthened the rivalry between Big Mom and Elbaph Giants.
By looking at his Silhouette, viewers had thought of him being a clumsy giant like Broggy and Dorry but the first appearance of the character in the Chapter 1130 reveals him to be a notorious criminal in the history of Elbaph. The character design of Prince Loki was top-notch with long hair, gigantic body features, two large horns, tall tongue, and his eyes were covered with clothes maybe as a part of his punishment.
Loki's Unforgiveable Crime
Loki is the younger brother of Haijurudin and the youngest son of the King, Harald. Loki has committed a huge crime that made to be called the “Accursed Prince” and the Shame of Elbaph. Loki has killed his father Harald to attain a particular Devil fruit that has been passed to the Royal Line of the Elbaph warriors.
Fans have a satisfying feeling of seeing a badass Antagonist after Kaido and Blackbeard. Loki’s intentions were shown to be pure evil and fans expect more from his character. Oda truly seems to be following the Norse Mythology in the Elbaph Arc by incorporating the concept of Asgard in the One Piece Final Part.
