Jujutsu Kaisen aired its Hidden Inventory Arc along with the Shibhuya Arc in August 2023 which was highly appreciated for its animation and storyline. The Hidden Inventory Arc focussed on the past story of Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru when they were second-year jujutsu sorcerer students. Shibhuya Arc is the fight between the Jujutsu Sorcerers and Evil curses and it is the best arc from Jujutsu Kaisen and the opening of the arc even made it reach further.
1. Itadori’s Extermination Arc

Major Storyline –
The Itadori’s Extermination Arc is the series’ seventh narrative arc in manga volumes 14 to 15 and chapters 137 through 143 written and drawn by Gege Akutami. This arc gives details of life after the Shibuya Incident and especially the risks faced by Yuji Itadori.
After the Shibuya Incident in Japan, there are cases of missing people alongside the existence of curses all over Tokyo. The jujutsu higher-ups, in an attempt to regain order, decide to have Yuta Okkotsu the only special grade sorcerer with whom they can execute Yuji Itadori. At the same time, the Zenin clan is planning to kill both Yuji and Megumi Fushiguro since Naoya Zenin wants to become the new head of the clan.
Naoya Zenin and Yuta Okkotsu introduce themselves at the worst possible moment for their mission. In a dramatic scene, Yuta pretending to kill a Yuji by thrusting a knife in his chest area. Although this seems quite unbelievable, later on, it was projected that Yuta had actually faked it – he had treated Yuji right after, in violation of the orders from the higher-ups. This sets up a major deception that lets Yuji continue forward to continue his desperate journey alongside Yuta and Megumi as they encounter further obstacles as well as antagonists.
2. Perfect Preparation Arc
Manga Chapters: 144-158
Major Storyline – The Perfect Preparation Arc is the eighth story arc in Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen series up to manga chapters 144 to 158. The arc revolves around the story aftermath of the Shibuya Incident, specifically Jujutsu High students and their friends, preparing for the battle with Kenjaku’s Culling Game to rescue Gojo from the seal.
In the wake of the Shibuya Incident, the jujutsu sorcerers regroup to counter Kenjaku’s next move: the Culling Game. Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro and others like Yuta Okkotsu and Choso need to get in touch with master Tengen. To this end, they plan to track down Hana Kurusu, also called the Angel, whose curse technique can counter the other techniques, which include the Prison Realm seal on Satoru Gojo.
At the same time the Zenin clan has its own problems going on internally. Maki Zenin comes back and challenges her relatives, thus sparking a fight which eradicates the clan. It has a very large effect on the world of jujutsu, changing the relative balance of power and setting something of a precedent for what is to come.
3. Culling Game Arc

Major Storyline : The Culling Game Arc is the ninth arcs in Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen series, manga chapters range from 159-221. This arc explores the consequences of the Shibuya Incident and the Culling Game set by Kenjaku with Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and their team.
After the Shibuya Incident, the Kenjaku starts the Culling Game, a deadly ritual of sorcerers and people in several colonies in Japan. The main goals of the main characters are to save Tsumiki Fushiguro from the game, liberate Satoru Gojo from the Prison Realm, and to shield Master Tengen from Kenjaku’s machinations.

4. Shinjuku Showdown Arc

Major Storyline : Shinjuku Showdown Arc is one of the essential parts and the final fights in the work of Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen series against the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna. It is most well-known for elaborate Kessen, and Characterization arc.
The arc kick starts on Christmas eve that falls on the 24th of Dec when the jujutsu sorcerers face Sukuna in Shinjuku. The battle between the strongest sorcerer named Satoru Gojo happens to be with Ryomen Sukuna. The aftermath of this battle is life changing for jujutsu world. The major and the most anticipated incident of the arc is the battle between Sukuna and Gojo.
Action wise, the primary focus is on the fight between Gojo and Sukuna, the raw strength and brilliancy of the strategy both present are quite remarkable. The arc also contains the important character growth and the outcomes of the characters such as Kugisaki Nobara. Nobara is also revealed to have been in a coma but she joins the fight against Sukuna to play a very significant role.
