In the manga panel of One Piece Elbaph Arc, the latest panel gave a look through of two new characters who are the members of the holy knights, Gunko and Shamrock Figarland Garling.
Throughout the panel, Gunko was shown as a member of the Holy Knights who operate as the elite force under the World Government. She appears as a young feminine character who possesses heterochromia alongside light hair next to dark eye pigmentation and distinctive sports a dark newsboy hat with goggles alongside a jacket with extended sleeves as well as a black cape paired with boots. The protective bandages cover both her knees along with her lower facial region. Through her Devil Fruit power Gunko produces and controls bandage-like strips with arrowhead-shaped edges. Gunko can separate these attached strips for offensive use by encircling her targets with hovering bands to either strangle or choke them. Through her Devil Fruit ability Gunko demonstrates the power to capture tough opponents including giants.
Oda gave a hint at Gunko’s devil fruit power
Gunko serves alongside Holy Knight Saint Figarland Shamrock in bringing Prince Loki to join the Holy Knights during the Elbaph Arc. After Loki’s rejection Gunko displays her capabilities by strangling his massive wolf while highlighting its effectiveness to match her Devil Fruit abilities. The distinctive attributes of her character have brought about strong reactions from followers who question her outfit most of all. Gunko also appears to be the strongest sword user in the Holy Knights group as she appears with Shamrock Figarland to the very own territory of the Yonko Shanks.
Each Holy Knight belongs to an organization that includes both warriors with strong battle skills together with Dragon creatures who perform as Celestial Dragons. Their distinctive abilities form a key difference between the standard World Noble class which normally lacks military strength. Saint Figarland Garling maintains the leadership position as Supreme Commander of the group. Garling holds the power to sentence and execute any World Noble who breaks Celestial Dragon standards without exception.
